im pretty amazed by how stereotype of people who go to poly after doing A levels still exist.
ok maybe im not amazed...but just feel very perplexed.
like is there really anything wrong with doing that?
just now a random friend whom i have not spoke to for maybe the past 2 years talked to me on msn...
so was asking like where he studying next cos he just finished army and all.
and so he asked me in return and when i said i am in poly now.
what i got was things like "WAAA" followed by "wasted 2 years".
and so i felt the need to explain to him that it was something i liked etc etc.
the year 3s composed this song which actually explains all about our course, how we feel and stuff.
wait till i find the lyrics and post it here so people will stop questioning. (:

went to the hospital to visit her yesterday for the 1st time.
after getting msgs and reading blogs to get updates about her condition, finally got to see her yesterday.
though the nearest we got to was outside her ward, at least i heard her shout.
i kept telling myself to go there with a light heart, not to cry, not to make anyone feel worse.
but after a good half an hour seeing her call for nurses to help her remove her phlegm, i couldnt act strong anymore.
but i think i did it in a discrete way. didnt do it in front of her.
yet, ironically, her calls for help were very comforting to hear as i heard that previously she was on tubes for the previous few days.
hearing her speak yesterday showed she was recovering.
for that, it made me smile a little.
Press on girl. (:

Lord, for she has always believed in you, please continue to bless her as she recovers.

its the 2nd day of new year, yet the excitement level is still not as high as the previous years.
i think its cos exams start this coming friday. :/
its really hard to focus on studying, especially when everyone is enjoying and playing.
then again, it makes me feel guilty to not be studying.lol.
how ironic.
anw...i postponed my driving test again.

cos i really anticipate that i will have no time to study for my last paper.
considered the pros and cons, and i felt the pros outweighted the cons.
to look on the brighter side, no poles=no immediate failure when knocking down poles right?
hahaha.trying to make myself feel better only.
alrights, off to celebrate and feel guilty later on!

and its sunday again.
i cant help but feel very unproductive every sunday.
no doubt there are times when i had utilised the weekends to do things other than staring into the comp, i still very lost on sundays.like things will never ever be done.lol.
oh wells...update about my week!
submitted 2 reports on friday...so you could just imagine what i was doing earlier on in the week.
dont need to elaborate.
so on fri, we decided that we needed to reward ourselves.so we went to novena for our cheeken rice. (:
we were daring each other to tell the person "wo men yao yi pan bo cai li", which means we want a plate of broccoli but wew were laughing so hard. she told us to order later when we finish laughing.lol.
headed back to amk for koi. (:
and i saw layn! :D didnt talk much cos she was going back to her sec school. but she's still as irritating as ever.hahaha.kidding!
went to amk hub where we sat down to talk..and randomly talked about overseas trip during the holidays.
may be going batam! (: but not confirmed yet.lol.
and there's this new neoprint shop thing in amk hub...and so we were like why not?
since we havent played with the machine for dont know how many years.
hahaha plus its super cheap - $3 only.haha.
Saturday went for liyi's 21st celebration (:
had fun catching up with many people and her niece is ultra adorable! :D

headed home and started to prepare for viva and case study.
super confused by now.hahaha
